NACA (2009) - $148,235

Wigamig Owners Loan Fund, Inc. is an emerging Native CDFI located on the Lac du Flambeau Reservation. The organization provides tribal members technical assistance through financial education programs to help them purchase a home and be successful homeowners. Wigamig Owners Loan Fund will use its FY 2009 Techncial Assistance award to: 1) pay staff salary and benefits; 2) pay for staff training and travel to the training; and 3) engage a professional services provider.



NACA (2007) - $138,970

Wigamig Owners Loan Fund, Inc. (WOLF) is an emerging CDFI established in 2006. WOLF intends to provide housing related loans and development services to the members of the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians. WOLF will use the 2007 NACA TA grant to 1) pay for an Executive Director to finalize loan products and development services and acquire loan capital; 2) pay for staff training in CDFIs; 3) pay for costs associated with networking to develop partnerships; 4) pay for legal expenses; and 5) pay for marketing expenses, office materials, and general office expenses.
