Hanover Receives Green Communities Competitive Grant

The South Shore town of Hanover lands $198,600 Green Communities Competitive grant to fund clean energy projects. The grants are only awarded to 110 Green Communities across the commonwealth.


The grants are released by the Department of Energy Resources and will be shared by various projects that consist of upgrades to ventilation systems and lighting, which allow for the reduction of municipal energy consumption.
