Shiawassee County Fair Gets $4,108 Grant

The Shiawassee County Fair will get a $4,108 state grant to finance the building of additional restrooms at its Corunna fairgrounds.


Dubbed as Whitley’s Bathroom project, this overhaul affair honors former Corunna High School student Whitley Gwisdalla who died of an asthma attack in October 2010. Gwisdalla is a participant at the fair and have been hoping for the creation of new facilities at the fair.
