Two Organizations Receive Grant From Department of Conservation and Recreation

Agency - Department of Conservation and Recreation

The Bay State Trail Riders Association and the Franklin and Bellingham Rail Trail Committee received a grant from the Department of Conservation and Recreation of Massachusetts to improve local sections of the Southern NEw England Trunkline Trail.


The funds will be used for purchase and installation of gates at both Lake Street trail entrances, and for grading, brush cutting, and other improvements on the trail between Lake and Center streets.
