$359,207 Share of State Grant Available for Tuscarawas County

A $359,207 share in the state grant funding to demolish vacant blighted residential properties in their communities is available for Tuscarawas County.


Applications will be accepted until the end of the week by the Ohio Regional Development Corporation in Coshocton. According to its program director, the grant will include enough money to demolish 30 abandoned homes, to perform title search on each property, and to do asbestos survey and asbestos abatement as necessary.
