Board of Selectmen to Issue $500,000 State Grant
A $500,000 state grant is to be distributed to fifteen local businesses who have applied for a part of the designation. The grant is to provide coverage for small businesses to survive unforeseeable business losses.
A board of Newton selectmen discussed the process on how to allocate the state funds to cover business losses. Small business startups around the area will mostly benefit from the grant money.
