Danbury to offer full-day kindergarten in 5 schools

Danbury school district has been awarded a state grant in order to develop kindergarten programs in elementary schools with primary grades. Five schools will be granted full-day kindergarten starting in the fall which includes Great Plain, Park Avenue, Pembroke School, Hayestown Avenue and Morris Street. As a result of the expansion, about 200 full-day seats will be added to the schools and about 18 classrooms will be added to the schools’ inventory.
