Westport Earns State Grant for Sidewalk Upgrades

Westport received a $497,595 state grant to enhance the downtown’s street infrastructure and pedestrian sidewalks.


The grant was part of the Main Street Investment Fund which finances towns develop their commercial and business districts. The grant also aims to improve pedestrian safety and neighborhood livability. This grant will make it possible to boost the quality of downtown’s infrastructure while preserving its historic and aesthetic nature.
