Wethersfield to Purchase a New Tree Truck

A state grant was given by the Intertown Capital Equipment Purchase Incentive Program to the town of Wethersfield. The grant amounting to $180,000 will be used to purchase a new tree-trimming truck that will be shared by the four towns namely Wethersfield, Berlin, Rocky Hill as well as Newington. However, Wethersfield has the opportunity to use the tree truck more often than the other towns because of the amount of road trimming and tree-choked utility lines that needs trimming.
