Former Inspector Charged with Fraud and Money Laundering

South Suburban Police Department’s former inspector general, Ronald W. Evans, was charged with mail fraud and money-laundering. He was said to have a role in the allegedly misuse of the $1.25 million dollar state grant funds.


He was indicted in 3 counts of the same crimes as his previously indicted wife.
