Former Obama Pastor's Daughter Accused of State Grant Misuse

Jeri L. Wright, daughter of ex-Obama pastor Rev. Jeremiah Wright, is accused of taking $28,000 in state funds.


Wright, claiming to do work related to the grant's purpose, has deposited about $20,000 into bank accounts run by Regina and Ronald Evans, of Country Club Hills. The funding evidently comes from the 2009 Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity grant program.
