State Grant Awarded to Fox Valley Park District

Agency - Department of Natural Resources

A state grant worth $217,200 was awarded to the Fox Valley Park District by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources for the development of South River Street Park on the Fox River.


The grant money will be used for planned uprgades including an improved boat dock, fishing stations, new picnic sheleter, expanded parking space, bio swales, habitat restoration, and trailhead kiosk with maps, and interpretative signage.
