MSD New Markets, Inc. (MSD) will use its NMTC Allocation to offer financing to qualified projects and businesses through equity, subordinated debt, and debt financing products. The majority of these investments will be aimed to facilitate the development of industrial complexes, retail shopping centers, office space, mixed-use facilities, small business enterprises, and community facilities that would otherwise not be able to secure financing. MSD’s debt products will be priced at least 400 basis points below market, will include no origination fees, and allow for 7 years of interest-only payments. MSD will also use its NTMC allocation to create a micro-lending program.
