Established in 1989, the Westchester Housing Fund (WHF) serves the north suburban area of New York City with provision of pre-development loans to developers of housing affordable to lower income families. It proposes to expand its loan products to better serve lower income households.

TA (2004) - $39,066

Westchester Housing Fund, Inc. (WHF) will use the award to obtain consulting services to design and develop marketing materials; upgrade and training of their computer technology; and staff training in loan portfolio management and micro lending. This will help them to create an integrated image and branding to reflect and promote their products and programs, which now expand beyond housing. WHF anticipates that with an expanded product focus it will be able to attract new investors and customers, from whose business will generate an expanded revenue source.



SECA (2001) - $200,000

The Fund"s technical assistance grant will be used to obtain consulting services to develop and expand WHF"s micro-lending, IDA and construction loan initiatives.
