Solomon Hess Loan Fund, LLC (“Solomon Hess”) will use its NMTC allocation to finance disadvantaged small businesses located in low-income communities, helping these communities with job retention, job creation and economic revitalization. The allocation will be used to provide subsidized financing for small businesses that would otherwise not be approved for financing by the loan fund. Solomon Hess will offer lower interest rates, a longer fixed rate period and more flexible loan terms such as lower upfront loan costs, longer amortization periods, non traditional forms of collateral, lower loan loss reserves and longer interest only periods.
