Local School Libraries Reap State Grant Award

Agency - School District Library Grant Program

Nearly $1.4 million School District Library Program Grants have been allocated to more than 600 public school districts in Illinois.


Illinois Secretary of State and State Librarian Jesse White awards the grants to assist funding for school library media programs. Grants are distributed based on a formula of 75 cents per student, with a minimal grant valued at $735.50.

Rivaayat is an initiative by Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi to revive various dying art form and solve innumerable problems faced by the artisans. Rivaayat began with reviving a 20,000-year-old art form of pottery that is a means of survival for 600 families residing in Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
