Regional Hospice Receives Grant for Center Expansion

Regional Hospice and Home Care of Western Connecticut receives a $1.2 million grant by the State Bond Commission for the expansion of its Healing Hearts Center for Grieving Children and Families.


The funding will enable the construction of a 3,200-square-foot expansion at the hospice. The hospice is a community-based, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that offers palliative home care, education and resources.
