Joliet Historical Museum Receives State Grant

Agency - Illinois Department of Natural Resource

The Joliet Area Historical Museum will be given a $61,400 through a state program. The grant is headed towards a 1940s music store permanent exhibit and oral history/audio visual kiosk project.


The money is part of the $15 million in state funding to develop public museums and create new exhibits while establishing hundreds of jobs in the community.
