It is applying as a Sponsoring Entity for Dakota Finance Corporation, which it is helping become a Native CDFI. Dakota Futures, Inc provides debt consolidation loans, small business development loans, and financial training services for its Target Market. It will use the FY2009 Technical Assistance grant to: 1) pay staff salary and fringe; 2) train staff; and 3) engage a professional services provider for the Native CDFI.
