The Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Tribe of Cass Lake, MN will use its $150,000 technical assistance award through the Native American CDFI Assistance Program to achieve its objective of creating a certified community development financial institution in the form of a community development credit union serving the Leech Lake Reservation in northern Minnesota and surrounding communities. The awardee will use the grant to hire a consultant to assist the Tribe with a market analysis, to purchase training for staff, to purchase technology, and to support operations.
