Established in 2001, the Indian Land Tenure Foundation (ILTF) is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization that serves Native Americans and Alaska Natives by assisting tribes and individuals in the preservation, protection and management of Indian lands that hold historical, cultural, spiritual and economic significance in numerous states in rural America. ILTF received a Native American CDFI Development (NACD) Program grant in the amount of $179,800 to obtain consulting services to work with the Board of Directors and/or staff in developing a strategic plan, a comprehensive business plan, financial planning, internal operations and procedures such as lending policies, computer technology for its staff; and staff salary.
