Women"s Economic Ventures of Santa Barbara (WEVSB) has provided microloans and business training since 1991. WEVSB was founded to promote opportunities for women achieve self-sufficiency and economic equality. 69% of its clients are low-income persons in the southern part of Santa Barbara County.

The technical assistance grant would help WEVSB expand its efforts to include a new focus on the low-income and Latino populations of San Luis Obispo and Ventura Counties.
